LP® SolidStart® Rim Board

Manufactured for strength and consistency, our LP SolidStart Rim Board products are precision cut to work with LP SolidStart I-Joists, LVL and LSL beams. This makes them ideal for supporting vertical and lateral wall loads as part of the overall framing system. Options include rim board manufactured from LSL, LVL or OSB available in a wide range of depths and thicknesses, minimizing the need for additional blocking.

LP SolidStart Rim Board, manufactured from cross-branded LVL, is more resistant to swelling in depth than traditional timber, making it a well-suited product for multi-story timber frame structures. Due to its stability in the depth direction, it is an ideal rim board solution.
